Go to a dentist in Dubai and get whiter teeth

Having a sparkling set of teeth is a matter of pride today. One with a wonderful set of teeth gains immense popularity in the friend circle. This is the reason why more and more people are taking up cosmetic treatments of their teeth. There are a number of teeth whitening procedures available in the dental services market which involve bleaching and polishing of teeth in order to restore the natural colour of one’s teeth. However, there are a few natural methods too which can help you shine up your teeth in a simpler manner. These methods are suggested by experienced dental experts who consider the natural methods to be superior to the artificial methods. If you are apprehensive of trying these methods on your own you can always visit any dental clinic in your city and consult with the dentist there. Here are five such methods which you can try at home.

1.      Brushing after eating
'
Needless to say, regular brushing takes care of your teeth like nothing else. You should make it a habit to brush your teeth not only after meals, but also after you consume chocolates or cola. Brushing removes the layers of food particles which act as discoloration agents of the teeth set.

2.      Baking soda with hydrogen peroxide

Using the combination of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide makes one of the best teeth whitening tips. You should mix these substances in the form of a paste and apply gently on the teeth surface. This method shows results quite fast. However, you must remember that baking soda is gritty in nature, and if you fail to prepare a smooth paste, it might rub off the surface of your enamel. So, it is advised to avail this method under expert supervision.

3.      Vinegar

Vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar is an important constituent in cosmetic dentistry. Hard and stubborn stains on teeth surfaces are very difficult to remove by ordinary bleach. Vinegar comes handy here as a strong stain-removing potion. However, you must keep it in mind that the vinegar needs to be well diluted or else the acid might harm your enamel. We recommend you to consult any dentist to understand the appropriate concentration of the vinegar to be used on teeth.

4.      Coconut oil

Coconut oil acts as a slow whitener of the teeth, but it has got no side effects. This is the reason why it is a recommended natural method by any dentist in Dubai. You can apply coconut oil on your teeth after brushing, and it will act as a shining agent for your teeth.

5.      Orange peels

Probably the simplest method of all, rubbing teeth with orange peels is highly effective in restoring the natural colour of stained teeth. The calcium in oranges also helps in strengthening of the teeth enamel.

However, it is always advisable to consult your dentist before opting for any of the above mentioned procedures. You can also opt for a teeth whitening procedure at Dentzz in Dubai which is safe and delivers results instantly.

Different types of dental procedure

A smile is the best impression a person can make on another in both a personal and professional relationship and that is why dentistry has gained so much importance today. With modern medical advances it has also been understood that a healthy mouth is an indicator of a healthy body. The mouth shows warning signs for most diseases and an untreated infection in the mouth can be very dangerous even leading to life threatening diseases like cardio vascular disease.

When it comes to dentistry there are many kinds of dental procedure. The most common however is the treatment of infected teeth. A dentist primarily examines the overall health of teeth and cleans them. In case of an infected tooth, the dentist cleans the cavity and fills it out using fillings. The dentist also repairs teeth which are damaged due to trauma by using composite filling that resembles the natural colour of the tooth. Another common procedure for teeth that are damaged even beyond regular repair is root canal treatment or what is called endodontics. It removes the infected pulp of the tooth, cleans the root canal and then fills in the root canal cavity. The treated tooth is finally capped for greater strength. The other kind of treatment that is practised is placing dental crowns and caps. This is the procedure of placing a cap over the visible part of the tooth when the tooth is damaged. They can be made of porcelain, metal or a mixture of materials. This protects the tooth and prevents it from breaking. Another type of common procedure is placing bridges and implants to replace missing teeth. Bridges are removable dentures whereas implants are fixed. Extracting decayed or irreparable teeth is another procedure adopted by dentists. Cleaning and whitening the teeth is also a common procedure adopted by dentists.

There are different types of dental treatment. The first or the most basic is the examination of the teeth to find out if there are any problems with the teeth or gums. In case a tooth has an infection the next step is filling it. Tooth extraction is also common and it can be broadly divided into two types, the one in which the extraction is simple and the other where it is surgical like that of a wisdom tooth. Root canal, cleaning, whitening and the placement of bridges and implants are all part of normal dental practice. There are also cosmetic dentists for more specialised treatments.

All kinds of specialised treatments are available with dentists in Dubai. This is a country that offers the best in dental treatment and all kinds are available at the most economic cost.

Lost a tooth, don’t worry – get a tooth implant

In earlier days, a badly infected tooth on which even root canal could not be performed was a tooth that had to be extracted and thus lost forever. All that has however changed with the latest innovations in dentistry with the implant. Irrespective of which tooth is lost, it can be replaced and not with a removable denture but a tooth that is as good as the old one. It is similar in structure, colour and strength and functions just like a normal tooth.

With many people going in for cosmetic dentistry a major branch of this is what is called tooth replacement treatment. There are many ways of replacing lost teeth and the earliest form is using dentures. These dentures can be used to replace one or more teeth with the teeth being supported by the other teeth that remain in the case of partial dentures, or in the case of full dentures the teeth are supported by the gums. Bridges are also used to replace teeth where prosthetic teeth are placed in between healthy teeth to replace the missing ones. The biggest problem in this is that the supporting teeth need to prepared and this makes them weak and prone to infection. The most recent and possible the best replacement therapy is the use of dental implants.

When we speak of implants there are various methods in getting it done and this is how a tooth implant works. An incision is made in the jaw and a hole drilled into the jaw bone into which the implant is placed. The incision is then stitched up and a period is allowed to lapse during which osseointegration or the integration of the implant with the bone takes place. After some months, the incision is opened again and a healing cap also called a collar is screwed onto the implant to facilitate the gum tissue to heal. After a few weeks this cap is removed and an abutment and the final crown is screwed on. With developments in technology however this long procedure has now been shrunk to a very short time where with extensive research the dentist can perform this entire process in just one sitting making it much less tedious.

In India which is fast becoming the dental hub of the world all the recent procedure are practised. Dental implants in India are very popular with many people coming from abroad to do this treatment in the country as it is very cost effective. The treatment techniques and the implants used are the latest.
